What does this Vastu calculator do?

The reviewed calculator applies BW-VASTU-RULESET-1.0 to your selected inputs and explains strengths and areas to review. Completeness and input confidence describe the information supplied, not scientific validity. It does not measure direction or automatically read a floor-plan image.

How do you use it and what information is required?

Have a legible, correctly oriented house plan or a verified layout. Identify north, room uses in eight broad directional zones, the centre of the home and the main entrance’s broad direction. Choose the options that match the property and indicate how north was determined. Keep uncertain inputs unknown, calculate, and read the limitations alongside any score. Incomplete information may support only a preliminary result or no score.

How should you use a compass or plan orientation?

Do not assume the top of a marketing floor plan is north. Check a current plan’s north arrow or use a carefully calibrated compass according to its instructions, away from interference. Repeat readings and resolve conflicting references. Document the entrance convention used; broad direction is not exact entrance-sector or pada analysis.

Can you check a plot, house, entrance or floor plan?

For a house or floor plan, manually enter actual room locations after establishing orientation. For an entrance, supply only the broad direction the tool requests. For a vacant plot, separately record boundaries, road access, shape, slope and drainage: this home-layout calculator does not provide a complete plot assessment. Do not invent room locations for vacant land.

What does the calculator not determine?

It does not certify measurements, structural safety, code compliance, drainage, zoning, title, financing or market value. It is not a live compass, survey or inspection. Complete normal property due diligence with qualified professionals and the correct Calgary or Airdrie authority.

Leave it unknown, resolve the orientation or seek clarification. Avoid false precision, especially for irregular plans or rooms spanning zones.
