My journey from a small village to achieving financial freedom in Canada is a story of persistence, vision, and an unwavering commitment to building a better future.

When I arrived in Canada in 2010, I had little more than ambition and a will to succeed. I quickly immersed myself in the world of IT, working my way up the ladder and eventually landing in a director-level role. It was the peak of my career, a position many would dream of holding. But deep inside, I knew my path was meant for something different.

How Real Estate Changed Everything

While working my 9-5, I started investing in real estate in 2012. What began as a single property purchase slowly expanded, and I began to see how real estate could be leveraged to build wealth. In 2015, I took it a step further—using the equity from my properties to dive into stock investing. These two combined sources of income—passive and active—became the foundation of my financial freedom.

Through real estate, I built a portfolio of 15 rental doors. Through stocks, I grew a million-dollar portfolio that acted as a safety net, allowing me to take the bold step of leaving my IT job at 36, just as I had reached the peak of my career. It wasn’t just about the money; it was about the freedom to control my destiny and live life on my own terms.

The Support Behind the Journey

This leap wouldn't have been possible without my wife, Sarv. Her belief in my vision and her courage to walk this path with me—leaving behind the comfort of a stable job and moving to Calgary—was a critical part of our success. Together, we have built a life based on financial freedom, not just for us, but for others as well.

One of the driving forces behind our pursuit of freedom is our love for travel. Sarv, our two boys, and I have traveled to over 25 countries, and we’ve made it our mission to see the world in its entirety. Traveling has shown us that life is about more than just work and bills—it’s about experiences, memories, and freedom. This passion for exploring new places and cultures has only deepened our commitment to living life on our own terms and encouraging others to do the same.

Now, I dedicate my time to helping others achieve the same financial freedom. As a realtor with a strong finance-oriented background, I mentor and coach clients, teaching them how to break free from the traditional 9-5 grind through real estate and stock investing. I guide families and individuals toward building wealth, creating passive income, and achieving the life they’ve always dreamed of.

Outside of Real Estate

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and four children—whether that’s at the lake, on the ski hill, mountain biking, or staying active in the community.
